THE HEIST
Whilst completing my final year of study, I joined a local start-up to work on their debut game, Honeypot Espionage, a virtual reality multiplayer stealth shooter.
I designed this tutorial level's gameplay and narrative beats, modelled and textured the assets, scripted AI behavior and VR interactions.
This opportunity allowed me to apply the findings of my research project which focused on the design and user experience requirements of VR applications.
By producing a prototype tutorial map which educated players on how to interact with VR, I was able to investigate the player's understanding of the interactive objects found in the level and examine how they navigate the in-game world.

By collecting time stamps at signature gameplay moments I was able to graph the player's progression throughout the map. The data revealed where further iteration would be needed to improve the map's legibility.
